Ileana Santana is a talented watercolor artist based in Georgia, proudly embracing her Puerto Rican heritage. Her passion for Georgia art ignited when her father gifted her a box of Prismacolor pencils, and it took just a few sketches for her to fall in love with creating art.
Today, Ileana's work beautifully reflects both her cultural roots and her connection to the outdoors, drawing inspiration from Georgia's fields, mountains, and coastal marshes, as well as the stunning coast of Puerto Rico.
As a watercolor artist, Ileana is captivated by the natural unpredictability of the medium. She finds the way pigment dances with water to be soothing, meditative, and alive. Each piece she creates is an exploration of nature's beauty and serves as an invitation for collectors to pause, breathe, and bring a sense of calm into their homes through low country art.
