About
Ileana Santana is a watercolor artist based in Georgia with Puertorrican roots. Her love for art began when her father gifted her a box of Prismacolor pencils, it only took a few sketches for her to fall in love.
Her work today reflects both her heritage and her connection to the outdoors, drawing inspiration from Georgia’s fields, mountains, and coastal marshes as well as the beautiful coast of Puerto Rico.
Ileana is drawn to watercolor for its natural unpredictability. She finds the way pigment moves with water soothing, meditative, and alive. Each piece she creates is both an exploration of nature’s beauty and an invitation for collectors to pause, breathe, and bring a sense of calm into their homes.
